Privacy Policy

In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, Geoplan establishes and discloses a personal information processing policy as follows to protect the personal information of the data subject and to handle complaints quickly and smoothly.

○ This privacy policy will take effect on 01/01/203.

 

Article 1 (Purpose of processing privacy)

 

Geoplan processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for any purpose other than the following, and if the purpose of use is changed, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent pursuant to Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act will be implemented.

 

1. Registering and managing membership on the website

Personal information is processed for the purpose of confirming the intention to sign up for membership, identifying and certifying oneself by providing membership services, maintaining and managing membership qualifications, preventing fraudulent use of services, and checking the consent of legal representatives.

 

2. Handling of civil complaints

Personal information is processed for the purpose of identifying civil petitioners and verifying civil complaints.

 

3. Provision of goods or services

We process personal information for the purpose of providing services.

 

4. Use in marketing and advertising

Personal information is processed for the purpose of developing new services (products) and providing customized services.

 

Article 2 (Period for processing and holding personal information)

 

① Geoplan processes and retains personal information within the period of personal information retention and use under the Act or within the period of personal information retention and use agreed upon when collecting personal information from the data subject.

 

② The processing and retention period of each personal information is as follows.

 

1. Membership registration and management on the website

③ When collecting personal information of children under the age of 14, the personal information controller may ask the child for minimum information, such as the name and contact number of the legal representative, and verify that the legal representative has agreed in one of the following ways.

 

• A method of having a legal representative indicate the consent on an Internet site where the consent was posted and notifying the personal information controller of the consent by a mobile phone text message of the legal representative.

• A method of having a legal representative indicate whether or not he/she agrees on an Internet site where the contents of consent are posted, and verifying the identity of the legal representative through his/her mobile phone identification, etc.

• To issue a written agreement directly to the legal representative, deliver it by mail or fax, and have the legal representative submit the agreement after signing it.

• Method of sending an e-mail with the contents of consent and receiving an e-mail with the expression of intention of consent from a legal representative

• A method of informing the legal representative of the consent through the phone, providing guidance on how to obtain consent or confirm the consent, such as the Internet address, and obtaining consent through a phone call again.

• Other methods of informing the legal representative of the consent and confirming the expression of intention of consent in a manner similar to the above.

 

Article 5 (Procedure and Method of Destruction of Personal Information)

 

① Geoplan destroys the personal information without delay when personal information becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the personal information retention period and the achievement of the purpose of processing.

 

② If the personal information period agreed by the data subject has elapsed or the purpose of processing has been achieved, the personal information shall be transferred to a separate database (DB) or stored differently.

 

③ The procedure and method of destroying personal information are as follows.

 

1. Revocation procedure

Geoplan selects personal information that has caused the reason for destruction and destroys the personal information with the approval of the person in charge of personal information protection of Geoplan

 

2. How to destroy it

Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by crushing with a shredder or incineration.Information in the form of electronic files uses a technical method in which records cannot be reproduced.

 

Article 6 (Matters concerning the rights and obligations of the information subject and legal representative and the method of exercising the rights and obligations thereof)

 

① The information subject may exercise the right to access, correct, delete, and request the suspension of processing of personal information at any time for Geoplan

 

② The exercise of rights under paragraph (1) may be carried out in writing, e-mail, fax, etc. in accordance with Article 41 (1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and GeopLAN Co., Ltd. will take action without delay.

 

③ The exercise of rights under paragraph (1) may be conducted through a legal representative of the information subject or an agent, such as a person delegated.In this case, "Notification of the method of processing personal information (No. 2020-7)"You must submit a power of attorney according to attached Form 11.

 

④ The rights of the data subject may be restricted pursuant to Articles 35 (4) and 37 (2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.

 

⑤ Requests for correction and deletion of personal information cannot be requested if other laws specify that the personal information is subject to collection.

 

⑥ Geoplan checks whether it is the person who made the request or a legitimate agent, such as a request for access according to the right of the data subject, a request for correction or deletion, or a request for suspension of processing.

 

Article 7 (Matters concerning measures to ensure the safety of personal information)

 

Geoplan is taking the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information.

 

1. Establishment and implementation of internal management plans Internal management plans are established and implemented for the safe processing of personal information.

 

2. Minimize the number of employees handling personal information and designate employees handling personal information in education and minimize them by limiting them to the person in charge.

Article 11 (Method of remedy for infringement of rights and interests of information subjects)
